It was a great experience supporting a practical part of  Christina Schultzs project, Nomads, transients and wanderers, an odyssey in objects > link < . The concept of the piece representing a cabinet of curiosities: a suitcase of significant objects for the Metzineres, a non-profit cooperative based in the neighbourhood of El Raval (Barcelona), which provides Sheltered Environments for womxn who use drugs and who survive multiple situations of vulnerability and violence.

My role was the digital fabrication and transformation of a suitcase with wood! The idea was to build compartments, similar of that to a curiosity cabinet in a museum. On a technical side it was a complex challenge with many different types of joinery.  I am happy with the result, you can see the process below. This is now getting wheeled off to be launched for the first time at the International AIDS congres in Munich!  At the end of this post are further details of how you can support the cooperative!
