Hello All, So for studios, we close this cycle on a brilliant high!!
Working with Arrels Foundation in Barcelona who specialise in art studios, work related projects and housing for the homeless. Our Visual Arts Expert took the lead and the impact on the learners empathy was clear. Below are some photos of the shop front co-designed by learners and homeless clients.
Last week we also hosted SUSTAIN 2023 - an event open to the public where we registered 67 new individuals, entering Learnlife for the first time!
The purpose was to bring together cooking, science and multimedia with a sustainability focus on circular economy by offering:
- Free workshops in biomaterials
- Live cooking demos with seasonal veg and a free cookbook
- Interactive exhibition on up-cycling
We had a bonus exhibition from the Moss Foundation and learners prepared 20 boards to be sent to international artists who design and auction the boards we prepared to raise money for a water system projects in Africa.
