27.03.24 Sustain maker faire 

Now in it's second year is a festival full of workshops, interactive activities and above all enthusiastic and curious people exploring solutions to be part of a circular future through 3D design, coding, visual arts, carpentry, cooking, music and fashion.

Huge thanks to Akasha Hub Barcelona for the venue and all our energetic and passionate learners and team and studio experts at Learnlife! Our event yesterday was fantastic!

We had a multitude on show exploring solutions to circular futures, designing for action and enabling citizens to be active members of their community. Ranging from a hot glue gun that produces recycled plastic thread to live bands, conscious cooking, biodegradable straws from SORBOS, amazing vegan food from Dosanova restaurant, skateboard art auction to a recyled paper bead art workshop just to name a few!

Thanks to Solidança Treball EI S.L. for clothes donations to our thrift shop and upcycled repair workshops! We had a catwalk and many techniques on visible mending on show.

We are counting the money raised as I speak .. so far €1,537!! and today is our last day of fundraising for the MOSS Foundation Inc to enable clean water systems in Eswatini Africa!
